For my second card I decided to make a more feminine card and dug out my silk ribbon to put down the middle with a nice bow! I needed a Get Well card so this was the perfect opportunity to make one.Friday, April 30, 2010

3-D Flower Challenge
No sooner had I finished the card above when my phone rang and it was my husband at work asking me to make a card for his co-worker who had just had a baby. I replied "sure I just made a baby card this morning...did they have a boy or a girl?" They had a lovely baby boy so it was back to the craft room for me to make another card...and here it is!

Regal Greetings
Today, I thought I would share a simple set of cards I made using the colours navy and pink and the {Ippity} set Regal Greetings. I love the versatility of this set and have used many of the stamps on different cards with other stamps but I think this is the first time I've made a card using just this great set of stamps!
I couldn't decide which stamps to use on a card...so I made a set of four cards.
Here are some close up photographs of the four cards. This first card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".
Happy Blessings measures 4" x 4"....
Missing You measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"....
...and the last little card measures 3" x 3".

Lest We Forget...
The Ode of Remembrance, recited at ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day services throughout the British Commonwealth, contains "Lest we forget" as its final line...as we think about those that have sacrificed so much for us let us also remember those that are working so hard for peace and keep them and their families in our prayers.

Owl Journal and Card
Next is a card made with paper from the {Ippity} Winter 2010 Collection and the sentiment is from {Ippity}'s set Where You Should Be. I think this owl paper is very cute and so I wanted it to be the main feature of this card. You can't see it in the photo but the owl that I punched out from the front of the card is now on the inside of the card.

Christmas in April?
I know it's a bit early to be making Christmas cards but I've noticed a few people whilst blog hopping that have already made a start by making a few Christmas cards each month so that it does not become such an overwhelming task at the end of the year. I thought it was such a good idea that I made a start on mine and have two to share with you today made with the {Ippity} set Kissmas & Mistletoe...I did make three of each which is not a bad start!

Don't forget all {Ippity} stamps and papers are available from me HERE with FREE shipping within the US.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Share Your {Ippity} Blog Hop
I have a birthday card and a couple of challenge cards to share with you today. The first card is for Monday's {Ippity} challenge. The challenge was to make a money/cheque holder and I used stamps from {Ippity}'s set Alphabetically Adorable.

This is the inside of the money holder....

This next card uses the Alphabetically Adorable set too and "birthday wishes" from Just Wanted to Say by {Ippity}. I didn't think I would get much use out the alphabet set....probably because I don't do much stamping in my scrapbooks and I didn't think I would use it on my cards...but I must say I've used it lots lately, especially making masculine style birthday cards.

The next card is for this week's Operation Write Home sketch challenge.

I used the {Ippity}stamp from the set Where You Should Be.

Don't forget all {Ippity} stamps and papers are available from me HERE with FREE shipping within the US.

H{ippity} Hop Monday!
My {Ippity} Hop post today was inspired by {Ippity}'s guest designer Heather Rolin. I loved her post last Tuesday about handmade embellishments....if you didn't see it click HERE. I thought it was a great idea and had a lovely time making some embellishments of my own. As I sat at my craft table surrounded by a lovely mess of pink papers, button, ribbons and brads I just had to make some cards too! I made this set of three cards using {Ippity}'s set Devoted and three of my newly made embellishments!

Just a reminder about the Share Ippity Blog Hop on this Wednesday, the 14th of April. Check out Bonnie Rose's Blog A Life Unrehearsed on Wednesday 9 am Central for the full list of blog hop participants. Come join us for lots more Ippity inspiration!
