"Lone Pine Designs" originated when I first moved to America in 2005 from Australia. My mother in Australia called our new home in NH "Lone Pine" as she wanted my new home, which is surrounded by pine trees, to have an Australian name. The Battle of Lone Pine is a very famous successful Australian battle which took place during the Gallipoli war in Turkey in 1915. It was called The Battle of Lone Pine for the solitary pine tree standing in the middle of the battlefield which surprisingly remained standing at the end of the battle. After the tough few months leading up to our arrival here in America and surviving the first year in a new country I felt like that pine tree still standing in the battlefield. It was in 2006 when I started to sell my work on Ebay that I decided that Lone Pine Designs would be the perfect name for this new endeavour in my life.

Happy Anniversary

I made this card for my Husband as today is our Wedding Anniversary. As I was looking through my stamps I couldn't resist this cute little frog from SU's set Unfrogettable. I also used OWH's Stars and Stamps sketch #73.

Supplies:- Unfrogettable by SU, PTI white cardstock, Brilliance ink, SU coloured cardstock, SU markers, SU DSP, Pinking shears and google eyes.

Love the card! Although anything to do with frogs gets my vote lol I've got loads in the house from Winnie-the-Pooh dressed as a frog to really posh ornaments and live ones in the pond :o)

So cute! This is always a stamp set I loved but never bought so I really enjoy seeing cards made with it. Love the frog and the sentiment is darling. The paper is just perfect for it and Happy Anniversary to you and your hubby!
