Christmas Wishes

This week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge is to create a card/project that has some kind of weather displayed on it such as: rain, snow, ice, sunshine, wind...anything that demonstrates weather. The image I used on my card today is a digital stamp from Digi Doodle Shop that has been sitting on my craft table for weeks just waiting to be used. I love snow globes and how they sparkle after you shake them...I lightly brushed stickles on my globe to make it sparkle!

Lovin' from the oven!

Karen, from Simply Said With Karen is hosting this week's Tangled Up In Creativity blog group challenge. She has challenged us to create a card that depicts what it is we like about the upcoming season. Last week, I received some free digital stamps from Digi Doodle Shop for a challenge I'd entered and I chose this lovely image called Fresh Baked Pie and knew it would be perfect for this challenge. I live in the Apple capital of New Hampshire where the upcoming season is full of apple picking, pie baking contests and of course my favourite, the vibrant colours of the changing leaves...this image has it all!

Guest Designer for a day!

I'm very excited to be a guest designer today on Michelle Perkett's blog where a challenge for Operation Write Home is being held...the challenge is to make birthday cards. Both my cards today feature Michelle Perkett digital stamps which are available in her Etsy shop.

This delightful cupcake image is covered in little flowers so I couldn't resist punching out the flowers and using brads to give the frosting some dimension.

After colouring this yummy cupcake with Copics and Stampin' Up markers I sprayed it and the sentiment with SU smooch spray so it has a lovely glimmer to it...unfortunately it doesn't show up in the photo. The pink rhinestones make for cute, girly sprinkles!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
