Beary Cute!

Isn't this bear cute...I love the expression on her face! I think it's one of the biggest stamps I own (the card measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4") and I'm not a huge fan of really big stamps so it really hasn't been used very much, if ever, over the years! As I was tidying up my stamps the other day I dug out a few really old ones that I wanted to ink up and this cute bear was one of them! She's a little too large to colour with my Copics so I chose to paint her with watercolours on watercolour paper. I left it blank on the inside so I can add a sentiment later depending on who I give it to. I added little pink rhinestones to her heart and of course she needed a bow!

Supplies:-
Stamp - PSX
Watercolour paper
Brilliance ink
Watercolour paints
SU coloured cardstock
SU ribbon
Pink rhinestones

Hello

Hello...I hope you're all having a lovely weekend. When I made this card I wanted to use green brads but didn't have any so I punched out some small green circles and used those instead...this is a good idea if your card needs a little something extra to balance it out and you don't have any embellishments in the right colour. I sometimes even use thin strips of cardstock instead of ribbon if I don't have the right colour. Have a great day!

Supplies:-
Stamps - Garden Visit by Penny Black and Hello by Amuse
Brilliance ink
PTI white cardstock
Clear embossing powder
Watercolours

Paper Tole Challenge

This week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge is to create a card using Paper Tole...a technique where you re-stamp your image 2 or more times and cut out parts of that image to pop it up and make it 3-dimensional. I actually use this technique alot but only with one extra layer. For this card I did three layers to give the card a more 3-dimensional look...the second photo hopefully gives you a better view of the layers.

Supplies:-
Stamps - Starlight, Starbright by Stamps Happen and For You by SU (Happy Moments)
PTI white cardstock
Brilliance ink
Watercolours

SU coloured cardstock
